Romanski earns 2nd Team All-America honors

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Sam Romanski (Sr. – Wausau, WI/East) was named to the D3football.com All-America Second Team for the second consecutive season on Friday night.

The senior linebacker, a First Team All-WIAC selection, led the conference in sacks (11.5) and tackles for loss (19.5). Romanski also finished eighth in the league in total tackles with 74 and was especially effective in Eau Claire's upset of No. 6 St. Thomas (Minn.) with two sacks and ten tackles. Romanski also earned First Team All-Region and 2nd Team All-America honors last season.
