EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Mother Nature is forcing schedule changes to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball schedule, with Tuesday's road doubleheader now being scheduled for Thursday, March 25 in Eau Claire.
Due to unplayable field conditions at UW-Platteville's home field, Tuesday's game had already been shifted to Waupun late last week. However, due to impending weather, the games have now been moved to Eau Claire's practice facility at Bollinger Field as Carson Park is not yet ready for play. More details regarding Thursday's games will be announced as they become available.
With the change in home sites this week, the April 20th doubleheader will now be played in Platteville.
The Blugolds' return to Carson Park is still slated for Friday, April 2 against UW-Oshkosh.
