REEDSBURG, Wis. (blugolds.com)-- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team competed in the third and final day of the WIAC Women's Golf Championship at Reedsburg Country Club. The Blugolds took home fourth place with a team score of 1023 over 54 holes. Lexi Meade (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI) took home the WIAC Individual Championship with a score of 233 over three days of play.
Lexi Meade is the 2022 WIAC Women's Golf Individual Champion with a score of 233 (+17) over 54 holes. Meade held onto her first place position in day three scoring a 76 in the final round. UW-Eau Claire has won 13 Individual WIAC Championships. Meade is the first Blugold to win the individual title since Katie Engler in 2014. Jilli Newman (So.-Madsion, WI) found success this weekend finishing in 10th place overall with a score of 246 (+30).
