Blugolds Take Fourth at Viterbo Invitational

LA CROSSE, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team competed in their second tournament of the weekend at the Viterbo V-Hawk Invitational on Sunday, September 25th. The team placed fourth overall posting a score of 355 (+67). 

Results

The Blugolds finished with two golfers placing in the top 15. Lexi Meade (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) tied for second with a score of 80 (+8), this is Meades fourth time placing in the top five overall this fall. Jilli Newman (So.-Madison, WI) finished in a tie for 14th place with a score of 87 (+15).

The Blugolds will host the WIAC Championships at Reedsburg Country Club starting on Friday, October 7th. Follow the Blugolds all season long on Blugold Game Day or on the UWEC Blugolds app.
