Women's Golf Takes Fifth at UW-La Crosse Invitational

ONALASKA, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team traveled to the Golf Club at Cedar Creek for the UW-La Crosse Invitational. The Blugolds tied for fifth place with a team score of 355.

Results

Lexi Meade (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) led the squad scoring a 76 (+5) putting her in second place overall. Jilli Newman (So.-Madison, WI) followed behind Meade for the Blugolds scoring an 87 (+16) which placed her 16th overall.

Eau Claire will have a quick turn around as they will be competing in the Viterbo Invitational tomorrow, September 25th at the La Crosse Country Club. Follow the Blugolds all season long on Blugold Game Day or on the UWEC Blugolds app.
