Women's Golf Completes First Day at the D3 Invite

HASTINGS, Minn. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team traveled to Emerald Greens Golf Course september 17th and 18th to participate in the D3 Invitational hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. After day one the Blugolds sit in 13th place overall. Lexi Meade (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI) leads the team tied for seventh place overall with a score of 75 (+2)

Results 

Top Three Finishers Day 1:

Lexi Meade: 75 (+2)

Jilli Newman (So.-Madison,WI): 84 (+11)

Olivia McSorley (So.- Elm Grove,WI/Brookfield East): 85 (+12)

The Blugolds will return to the course tomorrow, September 18th for the second round of the D3 Invitational. Follow the Blugolds all season long on Blugold Game Day or on the UWEC Blugolds app.
