Blugolds in 5th Place After Day One of WIAC Championships

REEDSBURG, Wis. (blugolds.com) -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team traveled to Reedsburg, Wisconsin where they will host the WIAC Women's Golf Conference Championship. The tournament will take place at the Reedsburg Country Club over three days. After day one the Blugolds sit in fifth place with a score of 349.

Results 

After day one, Lexi Meade (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI) leads the team scoring a 79 (+7) while tied in fourth place. Jilli Newman (So.-Madison, WI) follows behind tied in 13th place with a score of 84 (+12). 

The Blugolds wiil tee off tomrrow at 10:00 am for the second day of the Conference Championships.
