DUBUQUE, Iowa (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball team had its five-game win streak snapped with an 88-79 loss at Loras College on Saturday night. In a back-and-forth contest, the Duhawks took the lead for good on back-to-back 3-pointers midway through the fourth quarter. The Blugolds pushed back, but Loras made enough free throws down the stretch to hold off a comeback.
