Men’s Golf Remains in Fourth Through Day 2 of Twin Cities Classic

ELK RIVER, Minn. (blugolds.com) - Day two of the Twin Cities Classic was held Sunday afternoon from the Elk River Golf Course, and after shooting a team score of 293, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's team remained in fourth place on the leaderboard.

Round 2 Team and Individual Results

After posting a team score of 296 (+8) in round one on Saturday, the Blugolds improved their output by three strokes with the five-over-par performance on Sunday.

Individually, Brady Hanson (Sr.-Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) jumped two places on the leaderboard, and his score of 69 (-3) moved him atop the field (-5 overall).

"The men are continuing to grind, and it's great to see as a head coach," said Courtney Everett. Brady again finished with a solid round, and I couldn't be more proud. He's been a pleasure to watch and work with again this season."

Additionally, Joey Dreier (Sr.-New London, MN) moved into a tie for fifteenth place, with his 1-over 73 on the day (+4 overall). Michael Immekus (Fr.-Greendale, WI/Catholic Memorial) dropped one slot on the leaderboard to a tie for twenty-second, shooting a 3-over 75 (+6 overall).

The tournament concludes Monday from the Le Sueur Country Club in Le Sueur, Minn.
