Hanson leads Men's Golf on day one of Augustana Invite

SHERRARD, Ill. (Blugolds.com) – After round one of the Augustana Invitational, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in third place while Brady Hanson (Sr. – Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) leads the field.

Results

Hanson shot a 68 on Friday to earn the top spot on the leader board. Ryan Isaacson (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) followed with a 74 to tie for 14th while Joey Dreier (Sr. – New London, MN) and Alex Rogan (Fr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) tallied a 75 to tie for 22nd. Phil Johnson (So. – Eagan, MN) also turned in a score of 76 to tie for 27th.

The Blugolds' team score of 292 just narrowly trails Illinois Wesleyan (289) and Black Hawk Community College (291). Eau Claire will play the second and final round on Saturday.
