The Blugolds turned in a team score of 300 on Monday to finish with an overall score of 596 (+24). Gustavus Adolphus came in second with a team score of 606 (+34).

"After last weekend the team really had to regroup and think more about taking one shot and one round at a time instead of putting pressure on ourselves right from the start," said Head Coach Courtney Everett. "I think this mindset was beneficial for the men because we know golf is 90 percent mental, 10 percent physical. The Blugolds deserve this win and I couldn't be more proud of them."

Isaacson, who led the field after round one, picked up where he left off on Sunday. The junior recorded a 72 in his final round, bringing his final tally 143 to finish at par.

"I decided to start the round with a clean slate," said Isaacson. "I knew we had an eight stroke lead and if I scored around par, it would help the team win. It feels good to be the tournament champion but with my familiarity of these courses I just stuck to my routines and stayed comfortable both days."

Brady Hanson (Sr.-Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) and Alex Rogan (Fr.-Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) tied for fourth place with a 150 (+7). Teammate Michael Immekus (Fr.- Greendale, WI/Catholic Memorial) was seventh at 151 (+8).

Next up for Eau Claire is the Saint John's Invitational at the Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sartell, Minn. on Saturday and the Greystone Golf Club in Sauk Centre, Minn. on Sunday.
