The Blugolds and Eagles are meeting for the 79th time in history Saturday. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex for La Crosse's Homecoming.

For the Blugolds, Sports Radio 1400 (WBIZ-AM) will broadcast the game over the air and online at sportsradio1400.com. WKTY will broadcast the game for La Crosse. WATCH THE GAME LIVE ON TV
The game will be broadcast live on WXOW-TV 19 and WQOW-TV 18. Scott Emerich and Bob Bradovich will call the game. It will also be streamed online at www.wqow.com.

THE SERIES

LAST MEETING BETWEEN THE TEAMS
La Crosse was dominant in the teams' last meeting on November 6, 2010, capturing a 49-14 win at Veterans Memorial Field. The Eagles scored touchdowns on their first five possessions of the game and rolled to a 35-0 lead by halftime. The Blugolds got on the board with touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters, but the deficit was too great to overcome.   • Blugolds' Homecoming...loss snapped seven-game Homecoming win streak
  • Eau Claire got up early but Oshkosh scored 16 unanswered in the second half
  • Blugolds jumped out to a 13-point lead with Joel Sweeney scoring two TDs
  • Josh Albrecht hit a 31-yard FG to give Blugolds a 16-7 lead at halftime
  • Titans recorded a safety in the third quarter and went on to score two more TDs in the fourth
  • At the end of the second half, the Blugolds drove 69 yards and were on Oshkosh's one yard line but Joel Sweeney fumble and the Titans recovered
  • Kalan Stittleburg picked off a pass on the Titan's first play of the game

  • Coached Marietta College (Ohio) from 2003-2005
