The Blugolds will host nine visiting teams and play four matches in the tournament that will span most of Friday and Saturday. They will encounter two familiar opponents in Concordia-Moorhead and the University of Minnesota-Morris on day one. The Blugolds have already notched wins against each team earlier this season. Eau Claire is looking to bounce back after a heartbreaking homecoming loss to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh last weekend.

Day two of the tournament presents two unseen Minnesotan opponents for the Blugolds. The College of Saint Benedict comes in at 13-6 overall, while the University of Northwestern-St. Paul brings their 11-game winning streak into the tournament, with a record of 17-7.

Although Eau Claire will not encounter a WIAC opponent this weekend, this tournament will be a springboard into their conference-heavy finish to the regular season. Immediately following the tournament the Blugolds will take on the University of Wisconsin-Stout at home on Wednesday night in Zorn Arena. Stout will also play several games in the tournament this weekend.

All games will be held in the McPhee Center.
