Menomonie, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire men's and women's track & field teams traveled to UW-Stout for the Warren Bowlus Multi & Open, with the multi-event athletes getting their first opportunity to contest the pentathlon and heptathlon. In a remarkable two-day performance, Marcus Weaver (Jr. - Lewiston, MN/Lewiston-Altura) set the NCAA Division III National Record in the Heptathlon, scoring 5533 points over the seven events. The previous record was held by UWEC alum, Dylan Cooper.
