Women's Golf in 2nd after Round 1 of Georgianni Invite

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team hosted 8 teams at their two-round Georgianni Invite at Mill Run Golf course on Saturday and the Blugolds are in second after the first round.  

Round 1 Results

The Blugolds had a team score of 343 and were led by Anna Uzpen (Jr. – Osecola, WI) who tallied an 83 (+11) and is currently in sixth place. Megan Glaeser (So. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) and Abbie Ter Maat (Sr. – Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) follow in a tie for seventh with 84's. Carthage leads the field with a 323.

The Blugolds return to action Sunday at 11:30 am at the Eau Claire Country Club.
