Rudnicki finishes 7th overall at WIAC Championship

REEDSBURG, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team finished competition at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Golf Championship (presented by Culver's) on Sunday, with the Blugolds taking fourth overall.

With Saturday's second round was postponed due to the weather, both the second and third rounds were played on Sunday. In the second round, the Blugolds moved up from fifth into fourth place after shooting a team score of 326. In the third and final round, UW-Eau Claire tallied a 330 which solidified a fourth place finish with a score of 990 (+138).

Jessica Rudnicki (Jr. – Sun Prairie) led the Blugolds, placing seventh overall with a three-round score of 237 (+24) while Anna Uzpen (Jr. – Osecola, WI) tied for 10th with a 240 (+27). Megan Glaeser (So. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) followed with a 253 (tied for 21st).

The WIAC Championship wraps up the fall season for the Blugolds.
