STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – After day one of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Invite, the UW-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both in third place.

Top finishers for the Blugolds were:
Collin Miller (Jr. – Rochester, MN/Schaeffer Academy) – 100-yard freestyle, first place with a time of 46.82
Jack Poppitz (Fr. – Apple Valley, MN/Eastview) – 200-yard breaststroke, second with a time of 2:13.34
Michael Bylander (Fr. – Baxter, MN/Brainerd) – 100-yard breaststroke, second with a time of 55:52
Nicholas Meints (Jr. – Parker, CO/Ponderosa) – 500-yard freestyle, second with a time of 4:58.72
The Blugolds will compete in the second and final day of the invite on Saturday.
