MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire men's basketball player Jordan Petersen (Jr.-Strum, Wis./Eleva-Strum) led the Blugolds on the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) team as he was named a first team selection today.
This season, Petersen led the Blugolds and was eighth in the league in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game. He also led the team and was sixth in the conference with 3.12 assists per game and also led the team in free throw percentage and free throws made as he shot 127-for-170 (74.7 percent).
Additionally, Nick Bartlett (Sr.-Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View) was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team, which was chosen for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It included one member from each school. Bartlett started all 25 games this season and was fourth on the team in scoring averaging 8.4 points per game. He was also second on the team with 55 assists.
