EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire is celebrating NCAA Division III Week, Monday, April 7 through Sunday, April 13. During the week, the Blugolds will be posting various items to highlight some student-athletes at UW-Eau Claire.
Division III Week is an opportunity for all individuals associated with a Division III institution to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community. Annually, more than 500 students at UW-Eau Claire and more than 175,000 nation-wide can call themselves Division III student-athletes. Passion and sportsmanship are attributes of the student-athlete in Division III. The student-athlete plays for the love of the game, strives for excellence in all facets of life and perseveres through adversity.
