Erickson joins UW-Eau Claire from South Dakota State University and will be the 18th coach in program history.

(blugolds.com) — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Ryan Kuechle (Jr. - Mankato, Minn./Mankato East) and Sophie Rausch (Sr. - Fergus Falls, Minn.) have earned WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 24-30. Kuechle is the defensive player of the week for football, and Rausch is the women's hockey player of the week.

With both teams looking for the first Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) win of the year, UW-Eau Claire tallied a season high 48 points and seven touchdowns, earning them a 48-26 victory over the Pointers.

    EAU CLAIRE, WI (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team continued their Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) schedule on Saturday afternoon as they hosted the 9th ranked UW-La Crosse Eagles. A career high two touchdowns and 105 receiving yard performance from Isaac Garside (So. – Bonduel, WI) was not enough as UW-Eau Claire fell 51-21 at home.

    EAU CLAIRE, WI (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team was back at Carson Park on Saturday as they hosted #3 ranked UW-Whitewater during UW-Eau Claire’s annual Homecoming celebration. The Blugolds started fast with a 14-7 lead in the first but were ultimately outscored in the final three frames in the 45-24 loss.

    PELLA, IA (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire football team took to the road for the first time in 2022 as they faced off against the #13 ranked Central College Dutch on Saturday. Despite keeping the Dutch to zero points in the first and third quarters, UW-Eau Claire surrendered three straight scoring drives in the second and gave up three straight turnovers in the fourth to fall 31-13.
