EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The 2017 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-Region teams were announced Thursday morning. Named to the AVCA Midwest All-Region Team for the Blugolds was Madelyn Pashibin (Jr.-Minneapolis, MN/Minneapolis Southwest).

AVCA Release

Taking over the role as the Blugolds' top hitting option, Pashibin dominated at the net in 2017. She led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) in hitting efficiency (.315) and finished second in kills per set (3.83) and points per set (4.08). Her 379 kills were a team-best for the Blugolds, and that finished third in the WIAC as well.

This is the second season in a row that the Blugolds have had a player named to the AVCA All-Region Team, and Pashibin is just the twenty-second Eau Claire player to receive this honor in the team's forty-eight year history.
