Pashibin named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American

LEXINGTON, Ky. (blugolds.com) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2017 Division III All-America teams on Tuesday morning. Madelyn Pashibin (Jr.-Minneapolis, MN/Minneapolis Southwest) became just the twenty-second Blugold volleyball player to be named to the team. Pashibin was named to the Honorable Mention All-America Team.

This is the third post-season achievement given to Pashibin. The junior had previously been named All-Conference and AVCA All-Region.

She finished in the top-three in the conference in a number of hitting statistics. Her hitting efficiency (.315) led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), and her kills per set (3.83) and points per set (4.08) landed in second. Pashibin led the Blugolds in kills with 379, which finished third in the WIAC as well.
