MCLA Box Score | La Verne Box Score

UW-Eau Claire had a dominating game one against the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. The Blugolds were able to win in three straight sets with scores of 25-10, 25-13 and 25-18.

Rallies seemed to be a common theme for Eau Claire throughout the game against MCLA as there were multiple rallies in each of the three sets starting with a 5-0 rally in set one.

Eau Claire played back-to-back matches, next taking on the tournament's host, No. 20 University of La Verne. The Blugolds came out strong winning the first set 25-12 but La Verne fought back to take the next two,  27-25 and 25-23. The Blugolds came back to take the fourth set, 25-23, forcing the decisive fifth set.  It was tight to the end, but La Verne was able to seal the win with a 15-12 score.

The Blugolds had a total of 59 kills in match two led by Madelyn Pashibin (Jr.- Minneapolis, MN/Minneapolis Southwest) with 18 and Jessica Coyne (Jr.- Verona, WI/Verona) had 15. Setter Madison Surprise (Jr.- Appleton, WI/Kimberly) finished with 42 assists.
