EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's swimming & diving team took on UW-La Crosse today in the McPhee Physical Education Center.
Three Blugolds came away with victories while the team compiled 12 other top-three finishes.
In the 1,000-yard freestyle, Lisa Reed (Jr.-Duluth, Minn./East) took first place with a time of 11:21.08.
Elissa Hermsen (Fr.-Waunakee, Wis.) claimed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.90.
Diving, Amanda Baker (So.-Hudson, Wis.) won the three-meter with a score of 251.85.
As a team, the Blugolds fell to the Eagles 162-90.
Next up, the Blugolds will take on Minn.-Moorhead on Friday, Nov. 22 in McPhee. Action will get underway at 6 p.m. They will face Minn.-Moorhead, UW-Oshkosh and UW-River Falls on Saturday, Nov. 23 beginning at 8:45 a.m.
