Women's Swimming & Diving Takes on Northern Michigan and Gustavus

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Facing Northern Michigan University and Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.), the UW-Eau Claire women's swimming & diving team came away with two individual wins and three runner-up finishes in the McPhee Physical Education Center today.

Results

The Blugold divers had a good day, winning both events.

Courtney Miller (Fr.-Richfield, Minn.) won the one-meter dive with 127.50 points while taking second in the three-meter with a score of 117.50.

Winning the three-meter was Amanda Baker (So.-Hudson, Wis.) with a score of 122 while she took second in the one-meter event with 115.50 points.

Eau Claire also had two runner-up finishes.

Allison Hable (So.-Ankeny, Iowa) took second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.47 seconds and Elissa Hermsen (Fr.-Waunakee, Wis.) finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.36 seconds.

Eau Claire fell to Northern Michigan 195-121 while falling to Gustavus Adolphus 181-130.

Next Saturday, the Blugolds will host UW-La Crosse at McPhee for Parents Day for a meet beginning at 1 p.m.
