STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – After the first round of the University of Wisconsin-Steven Point Mad Dawg Invite, the UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is in third place while Allison Chomniak (Sr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) is tied for first place overall.

Chomniak recorded a 78 (+5) at the Stevens Point Country Club. The Blugolds turned in a team score of 349 (+57) while UW-Oshkosh is in first with a score of 327 (+35).

Jessica Rudnicki (So. – Sun Prairie, WI) followed Chomniak with an 86 (tied for 15^th), Monica Cucunato (Fr. – Kenosha, WI/Bradford) with a 92 (tied for 30^th) and Anna Uzpen (So. - Osceola,WI) with a 93 (tied for 32^nd).

The Blugolds will compete in the second and final round on Sunday.
