Chomniak takes 3rd overall, Blugolds finish 4th at UW-Whitewater Fall Invite

COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team moved up a spot to take fourth place while Allison Chomniak (Sr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) turned in a strong performance to finish third overall at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite on Sunday.

Chomniak shot a 77 on Sunday to finish with a two-round score of 155 (+11). The Blugolds turned in a team score of 352 to finish at 696 (+120).

Jessica Rudnicki (So. – Sun Prairie, WI) took 24th place with an 88 (177) while Abbie Ter Maat (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) was 41st with a 95 (185).

Anna Uzpen (So. - Osceola,WI) and Monica Cucunato (Fr. – Kenosha, WI/Bradford) finished 51st (92) and tied for 65th (111), respectively.
