COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team is in fifth place while Allison Chomniak (Sr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) is tied for third overall after round one of the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite.
The Blugolds turned in a team score of 344 at The Oaks Golf Course while Whitewater leads the field after shooting a 316.
Chomniak's 78 has her in a tie for third overall while Monica Cucunato (Fr. – Kenosha, WI/Bradford) is tied for 20th (87). Jessica Rudnicki (So. – Sun Prairie, WI) follows, tied for 28th place with a score of 89.
Abbie Ter Maat (Stevens Point, Wis. / SPASH) shot a 90 in the first round and is tied for 30th and Anna Uzpen (So. - Osceola,WI) tallied a 97 (tied – 55th).
