MENOMONIE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – In day one of the Warren Bowlus Open hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stout, the UW-Eau Claire track and field teams turned in strong performances in the pentathlon and heptathlon.

Sarah Glidden (Sr. – Greenville, WI/Hortonville) finished first in the pentathlon on Friday, tallying 3604 points. The Blugolds swept the top three spots with Megan Wallace (Fr. – Burlington, WI) in second (2754) and Amber Harris (Sr. – Coon Rapids, MN) in third (2715).
In the men's heptathlon, which will finish Saturday with the final three events, Michael Amerlan (So. – Itasca, IL/Lake Park West) is currently in second (2639) and Dylan Cooper (Jr. - Holmen, WI) third (2625).
