NORMAL, Ill. (Blugolds.com) – After day one of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in a tie for seventh place out of the 21 competing teams.
The Blugolds turned in a team score of 302 after their opening round of the spring at the Ironwood Golf Course.
Ryan Isaacson (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) leads the way with a 73, putting him in a tie for 11th place overall. Joey Dreier (Sr. – New London, MN) and Nick Bauer (So. – Oshkosh, WI/North) follow with a 76, which is tied for 32nd.
The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Saturday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
