Kuepers & Voigt earn All-WIAC Honors

MADISON, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) office announced the 2021 All-WIAC men's basketball awards on Tuesday, with a pair of Blugolds receiving honors.

Cam Kuepers (Sr.-Madison, WI/Lakeside Lutheran) was named an All-WIAC honorable mention for the second straight year. Kuepers led the Blugolds in scoring, averaging 12.8 points per game while shooting 46% from the field and 43% from three. He hit the game-winner against UW-Stout in their first meeting then went for 23 points in the second.

Kuepers wraps up his UWEC career appearing in 79 total games and starting 64. He finishes with 635 career points.

Alex Voigt (So.-Sun Prairie, WI) earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team. Voigt finished the short season with three blocks, including two against UW-River Falls.

In addition, Kuepers also earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
