Personal

Why did you choose UW-Eau Claire?

"I chose UW-Eau Claire because it gave me a chance to continue to play the sport I’ve played since I was 4 years old. Also, coming from California, I’ve always wanted to experience living elsewhere in the country. When learning more about the academics and the high quality facilities, it felt like a perfect fit for me and my family which I ultimately ended up going with."

Why did you choose Division III?

"I choose to play Division III because not only did I want to keep playing baseball, I also wanted to prioritize my education and future after college."

Who is your role model/mentor? Why are they important to you?

"My role model, I would say, is Fernando Tatís Jr. Living in San Diego all my life, him coming up and electrifying an entire city and putting the city on his back to make the game exciting and fun inspires me so much. It pushes me to be my best to stand out but to also have as much fun as I can playing the game I love."

What is the best sports movie/show/series?

"The best sports movie is the Sandlot because it’s a movie I know I can rewatch all the time without getting tired of it."
