ST. PAUL, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's indoor track & field team finished with three victories at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) Invitational today.
Jessie Reineck (Fr.-Greenville, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) led 12 runners in the 400-meter dash as she finished with a time of 59.25 seconds, more than two seconds in front of the second-place finisher.
The one-mile run was led by Lucy Ramquist (So.-River Falls, Wis.), who finished more than three seconds ahead of the rest of the field with a time of 5:14.03.
In the 60-meter hurdles, Erin Schoenfelder (Sr.-Antioch, Ill./Antioch Community) won with a time of 9.16 seconds.
Next Saturday, the team will be back in action at the Pointer Eastbay Invite at UW-Stevens Point.
