Harvey fell in his opening match, but recovered by winning five consecutive matches in the consolation bracket. That placed him in the third-place match, where the bracket ended with a double forfeit. Harvey won three matches by fall and two by decision.

Melton reached the quarterfinals by winning by fall in his first match of the day, but fell in a narrow 5-3 decision to move to the consolation bracket. From there, he won a match by 12-3 major decision and later booked a spot in the fifth-place match, where he won by medical forfeit.

Carlisle got a pin in his first match of the championship bracket, but fell in the second round to enter the consolation bracket. He had three wins in consolation wrestling to reach the semifinals but fell to enter the fifth-place match, where he wrapped up a sixth-place finish.

The Blugolds had 11 entries in the tournament and scored 59.5 team points, which put them seventh in the standings.
