Men's Golf takes 2nd while Rogan earns medalist honors at Bobby Krig Invite

NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team shot an even par to take second place at the Bobby Krig Invitational on Saturday with Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) earning medalist honors and Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) tying for second overall.

Results

The Blugolds shot a one-round team score of 284 while Concordia-Moorhead won the invite with a 282.

Rogan's 68 (-3) led the field while Isaacson's 69 (-2) tied with four others for second. Rogan's tally was his lowest score of the season while Isaacson's tied for his season's best.

Nick Bauer (Jr. – Oshkosh, WI/North) shot a 72 (+1) to tie for seventh and tie his best score of the season and Connor Frawley's (Sr. Onalaska, WI/Holmen) season-best score of 73 placed 12th.

Brady Thomas (So. – Middleton, WI) also had a strong round for Eau Claire, tying for 16th with a 75, tying his season-best.

The invitational wraps up the regular season for the Blugolds who will now wait for the NCAA selections to the Division III Championship which will be held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina May 15-18.
