DESTIN, Florida (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team finished in 16th place at the Golfweek Fall Invitational, while Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) tied for 11th overall.
The Blugolds turned in a team score of 303 on Tuesday to bring their three-round team score to 900. The University of St. Thomas (MN) won the team title with a score of 857.
Isaacson shot another 71 on Tuesday to lead the Blugolds, finishing with an overall score of 216.
Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/ Green Bay Preble) followed with a 78 and tied for 51st (225) while Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) took 55th after recording a 76 (226).
Grant Burish (So. – Janesville, WI/Shattuck-St. Mary's) tied for 79th with Tuesday's 78 (237) and Michael Immekus (So. – Greendale, WI/Catholic Memorial) tallied a 78 (240) to tie for 83rd.
The tournament wraps up the fall season for the Blugolds.
