Isaacson finishes in third, Rogan fourth at Klinkner Classic

SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team finished in fourth place as a team and landed two Blugolds in the top four overall at the Klinkner Classic at the Lynx National Golf Course.

Results

The Blugolds turned in a team score of 297 in the final round to finish with a two-round score of 588 (+12). The University of St. Thomas won the tournament with a score of 576.

Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) finished strong for the Blugolds, shooting a 70 to finish at 141 (-3) to take third place overall. Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) followed with a 73 (142) to place fourth.

Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/Green Bay Preble) tied for 24th with a 78 (153) while Nick Bauer (Jr. – Oshkosh, WI/North) tied for 27th with a 76 (154).

Connor Frawley (Sr. Onalaska, WI/Holmen) added an 81 on the day to finish tied for 31st (157).

The Blugolds host the Blugold Spring Classic on Thursday before traveling back to Minnesota for the Saint John's Spring Invitational Saturday and Sunday. Follow the action on Blugold Game Day.
