Men's Golf tied for 2nd after round 1 of Wrigglesworth Invite

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is tied for second place after round one of the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite held at Wild Ridge Golf Course.

UW-Eau Claire has two teams competing, with the team of Jake Reckin (Fr. – Bellevue, NE), Daniel Burger (Jr. – Superior, WI), Brady Thomas (So. – Middleton, WI), Jack Kluge (So. Forest Lake, MN) and Phil Johnson (Jr. – Eagan, MN) turning in a team score of 303 as did Viterbo University while Augsburg College leads the field with a score of 297.

The second Blugold squad of Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial), Grant Burish (So. – Janesville, WI/Shattuck-St. Mary's), Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial), Connor Frawley Sr. – Onalaska, WI/Holmen) and Michael Immekus (So. – Greendale, WI/Catholic Memorial) is in fourth place with a team score of 305.

Isaacson and Reckin lead UW-Eau Claire, as Isaacson is tied for first overall (70, -2) and Reckin is third (71, -1).

Burger, Thomas, Burish and Rogan are all tied for 20th after shooting a score of 77 (+5).

Eau Claire will finish the second and final round Monday at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club. Follow the action on Blugold Game Day.
