The first match of the day proved difficult for the Blugolds who lost a tough 8-1 battle to Coe College. The doubles pair of Will Weyenberg (Neenah, Wis.)  and Danny Schoen (Brookfield, Wis.) were the only Blugolds to earn a win against Coe, winning by a score of 8-5.  

The Blugolds earned a win in the second match of the day over Cornell College. In singles action Schoen defeated Goyal (CCM) 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 at the number three singles spot.  Andrew Dahl (Fort Atkinson, Wis.) earned a win of Kishimoto (CCM) 7-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the four spot, while Conrad Felten (Wausau, Wis./East) dominated  Barnes (CCM) 6-2, 6-2. Zach Janssen (Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame) won 6-2, 6-1 in the number six spot. 

In doubles action Weyenberg/Shoen defeated Goyal/Barnes (CCM) 9-8, and Felten/Janssen won 8-3 at number three doubles. 

The Blugold men compete again against Bethany Lutheran on Feb. 10. in Saint Peter, Minnesota.
