Four Players Receive All-WIAC Volleyball Recognition

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Four members of the UW-Eau Claire women's volleyball team have received All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) recognition, it was announced today by Assistant Commissioner of Media Relations Matt Stanek.

Outside hitter Katrina Raskie (So.-Weston, WI/D.C. Everest) received honorable mention All-WIAC honors for the first time in her career.  Raskie ranked eighth in the WIAC in kills and 10th in digs averaging 2.75 kills and 3.41 digs per contest.  Raskie tallied a team-best 20 kills at UW-Platteville on October 10.

Middle hitter Kelly Riesgraf (Jr.-Chaska, MN) also earned honorable mention recognition.  Riesgraf ranked fourth in hitting percentage at .295 and sixth in blocks averaging 0.92 blocks per contest.  Riesgraf hit a team-best .600 at Northwestern on October 7 and recorded a team-high 10 blocks against UW-Stout on October 29.

Right side hitter/setter Alexis Wong (Sr.-Maple Grove, MN) finished the season ranked 15th in kills at 2.41 per contest.  Wong had a season-best 18 kills versus St. Mary's of Indiana on October 11.  Wong was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team in 2013.

Outside hitter Megan Tracy (Sr.-New Hope, MN/Robbinsdale Cooper) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.  Tracy ranked 17th in the WIAC in assists averaging 2.28 per contest.  Tracy recorded a season-best 16 kills at UW-River Falls on October 22.
