EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team fell just short to Luther College on Saturday, losing 1-0 in overtime.

Box Score

The game was a defensive battle as goalie Sammie Lefaive (Jr.-Coon Rapids, MN) recorded 17 saves. The Blugolds were outshot 23-4 on the day.

Eau Claire (1-5) will be back in action Tuesday, Sept. 20 as they play host to Hamline University at 4 p.m.
