Three Blugolds finish in top 24 at Emory Invite

STONE MOUNTAIN, Georgia (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team turned in a strong performance at the Discover Dekalb Emory Invite on Sunday as three Blugolds finished in the top 24 and the team finished 6th overall.

Results

Eau Claire shot a 296 on Sunday to finish the tournament with a three-round score of 888.  Huntingdon College won with a score of 865.

Alex Rogan (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) led Eau Claire, tying for sixth place overall with a 216 after the junior shot a 73 on Sunday.

Nick Bauer (Sr.- Oshkosh, WI/North) shot a 75 to finish at 219 to tie for 12th while Cole Jahnke (Fr.- Stillwater, MN) had an impressive day, shooting a 70 to jump up 20 spots to finish tied for 24th with an overall score of 224.

In addition, Jake Reckin (So. – Bellevue, NE) finished tied for 59th with a 234 while Brady Thomas's (Jr. – Middleton, WI) 235 put him in 61st place.
