NEW ORLEANS (Blugolds.com) – Four Blugold men and 11 women have been named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honorees for the 2018 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field season.
UW-Eau Claire had seven athletics earn All-Region honors for a single event while seven others were honored for two or more. Below are the Blugolds recognized by the USTFCCCA:

David Kornack (Jr. – Edgar, WI) - shot put and discus
KJ Munn (So. – Bayport, MN/St. Croix Prep) - 400m
Dietrich Schwoerer (So. – McFarland, WI) - 400m
Mel Becker (Sr. – Osseo, WI/homeschool) - 1500m
Tommie Brenner (Jr. – Reedsburg, WI) - 100m hurdles, 4x100
Ashleigh Buergi (Sr. – Green Bay, WI/Bay Port) - 400m hurdles, 4x100, 4x400
Amy Chen (Fr. – Fr. – Mayville, WI) - 4x100
Sarah Glidden (Sr. – Greenville, WI/Hortonville) - 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 4x400, high jump, heptathlon
Lakyn Kummer (So. - Medford, WI) -(4x400
Erica Oawster (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) - shot put, discus
Samantha Slattery (Jr. – Waunakee, WI) - 10K
JoHannah Theisen (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Regis) - shot put
Megan Wallace (Fr. – Burlington, WI) - 4x400, heptathlon
Kelsey Worachek (Sr. – Appleton, WI/Xavier) - 100m, 4x100
