Gymnastics Falls in Season Finale

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team held their final dual of the year on Thursday against UW-Stout. The Blugolds would fall to the Blue Devils, 184.150-178.850

Results

Tia Ravara (Fr.-San Leandro, CA/Bishop O'Dowd) led the way for Eau Claire with a first-place finish in the Bars and All-Around competition. Ravara scored a personal and team best 9.525 on the bars and a even 37.000 for All-Around.

Andrea Gessner (Sr.-Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) picked up a first-place finish on the vault with a 9.375.

Other Blugolds hitting milestone scores was Bailey Davidson (Jr.-Eagan, MN/Eastview) with a personal best on the floor, Jada DeBoer (Sr.-Puyallup, WA) with a personal best on the floor and the bars, and Emma Barry (So.-Allen Park, MI) with a personal best on the floor and the bars.

The Blugolds finish their shortened regular season with a record of 0-4. The WIAC Championship, originally scheduled to be hosted by UW-Oshkosh on March 12, had been canceled. The National Collegiate Gymnastics Association previously announced that its championship has been canceled. The event was scheduled to be hosted by Winona State University (Minn.).
