OSHKOSH, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team took back to the mat on Thursday as they traveled to UW-Oshkosh. The Blugolds had one event winner in a 183.825-175.150 loss to the defending Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champions.
Danielle Malecha (Jr. - Inver Grove Heights, MN/Rosemount) took the top spot on the beam with an individual score of 9.400. Tia Ravara (Fr. - San Leandro, CA/Bishop O'Dowd) would earn a tie for second on the bars and had the top all-around score of 34.400.
The Blugolds will be at home on Thursday, March 11th when they host Gustavus Adolphus. The dual is scheduled for a 5PM start.
