Five Blugolds Score Career Highs In Home Dual

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team hosted Gustavus Adolphus College on Thursday night. In their first home dual of the season, the Blugolds would fall just short to the Gusties, 181.325-183.725.

Results

Eau Claire scored their highest team total of the year and won two events in the contest.

Tia Ravara (Fr. - San Leandro, CA/Bishop O'Dowd) scored a personal and team high 9.550 to win the beam. Ravara also placed 2nd of those who qualified for All-Around, with a score of 36.950.

Tayla Thome (Jr. - Medina, OH/Buckeye) had a career and team high 9.550 in her floor routine to take home 1st place.

Three other Blugolds had career-high nights. Bailey Davidson (Jr. - Eagan, MN/Eastview) scored a floor routine of 9.275. Jada DeBoer (Sr. - Puyallup, WA) earned a 9.300 on the vault. Christina Leikam (So. - Aurora, CO/Cherokee Trail) had a personal best on the beam with a 9.050.

The Blugolds will be back in the McPhee Physical Education Center Gymnasium on Thursday, March 25th. They will host UW-Stout in a dual scheduled to start at 5PM.
