Ramquist Competes in 1,500-Meter Run At Gina Relays

HILLSDALE, Mich. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire women's distance runner Lucy Ramquist (Sr.-River Falls, WI) was the lone Blugold women's competitor running the 1,500-meter run at the Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College at Ken Herrick Track.

In a field featuring several NCAA Division I and II runners, Ramquist finished 15th overall with a time of 4:34.37 and was the second-fastest NCAA Division III competitor in the race.  Her time currently ranks her 10th nationally.

The Blugolds will compete in the St. Mary's (MN) Open tomorrow before competing at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 1-2 at UW-La Crosse.
