MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team faced off against Augsburg University for the second time in two days on Sunday, falling to the Auggies by a score of 2-1.

Augsburg took advantage of a power play in the first period as Megan Johnson scored at 13:20 into the period.

Eau Claire evened the score on a power play of their own in the second, with Hanna Zavoral (Fr. – St. Paul, MN/Highland Park) finding the back of the net thanks to assists from Mariah Czech (Sr. – Andover, MN) and Jaedyn Walz (Sr. – Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) for her third goal of the season.
