COLFAX, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team took second place at the UW-Stout Fall Invitational at the Whitetail Golf Course on Saturday, while Megan Glaeser (So. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) led the Blugolds after finishing third overall.
UW-Eau Claire shot a team score of 334 (+50) while UW-Stout won the meet with a 323 (+39). Glaeser shot an 80 (+9) while Stout's Trystin Kluess took medalist honors with a 77.
Jessica Rudnicki (Jr. – Sun Prairie) followed Glaeser with an 81, putting her in a tie for fourth while Abbie Ter Maat (Sr. – Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) tied for 10th with an 86. Anna Uzpen (Jr. – Osecola, WI) also finished in the Top 20, tying for 15th with an 87.
Next up for the Blugolds is the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship while will be Oct. 4-6 at the Reedsburg Country Club.
