Laura Raflik Named WIAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire softball pitcher Laura Raflik (Jr.-Plover, Wis./Pacelli) has been named this week's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Pitcher of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today.

Pitching a complete game on April 18, in an 8-0 victory in six innings over UW-Stevens Point, Raflik faced 22 batters and struck out four of them, while giving up four hits to improve to 7-4 on the season. Through the fourth inning, Raflik was on track for a perfect game but gave up four hits in the final two innings.
